New Haven, Conn. – Freshman Emmanuel Yeboah (Hamden, Conn.) has been named as the Albertus Magnus College Male Student-Athlete of Week. Initiated in September, 2017, the 'Athlete of the Week' program recognizes one female and one male student-athlete each week for demonstrated excellence on the playing field.
Yeboah recorded a goal and an assist for three points in a 1-1 week for the Falcons. In the overtime win over Purchase, the rookie assisted on the Falcons' first goal of the game before finding the back of the net for the game-winning goal at the 95th minute.
The men's soccer team returns to action on Wednesday, September 12 as the Falcons host Norwich University in their GNAC opener.
