NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Sophie Cseszko (Magnolia, Tex.) of the Albertus Magnus College women's volleyball team and Mason Sassu (Rocky Hill, Conn.) of the men's golf team were named the Takin' Flight Falcons of the Week for their performance this past week.
Cseszko had a team-high 10 kills and five blocks as the Falcons defeated Elms, 3-1. Then, on Saturday she had 15 kills on the day in matches against Saint Joseph's College (SJC) of Maine and New England College (NEC).
Sassu finished in fifth place at the Mitchell Invitational III with a seven-over par 78. He helped the team finish in second place with a 28-over par 312.
