Brett Colavolpe begins his third season as the Albertus Magnus head men's soccer coach after serving 10 years as an assistant coach for the program.

In his second year at the helm, Colavolpe help guide his Falcons to an overall record of 6-6-5, including a fifth place finish in the GNAC with a 5-2-4 mark. Following the fall campaign, Colavolpe had two players - Abdoul Aremu and Joe Russo - receive All-Conference recognition 

In 2017, the Falcons finished 7-10-1 and made its 22nd appearance in the GNAC Tournament as the No. 7 seventh seed, following a 4-5-1 league mark. In his first year at the helm, Colavolpe guided Albertus Magnus to two shutout wins over Purchase and Anna Maria. 

For the last 10 years, Colavolpe served as an assistant coach for the men's soccer program since graduating from Albertus Magnus in 2007 with a degree in Mathematics.

Colavolpe was a four-year starter for the Falcons from 2003-06. He was named to the GNAC All-Conference Second Team as a senior in 2006 and earned a spot on the GNAC All-Tournament Team in 2005. Colavolpe also served as a team captain for the Falcons as both a junior and a senior.

Colavolpe is in his 11th year of teaching Mathematics and is teaching at Troup School in New Haven.
