Jennifer Long begins her first season as a graduate assistant coach for the Albertus Magnus women's swimming & diving team. 

Long began her coaching career with Prosper Youth Sports Association in Prosper, Texas, where she helped start the program and served as an assistant coach for two seasons. Long then transferred to the Frisco Amature Summer Swim Team (FASST), where she was an assistant coach for five seasons. With her time at FASST, she coached swimmers from the ages of 5 years old to 17 years old of varying abilities. She helped lead multiple swimmers each year to the State Games of Texas, as well as the State Games of America.

She competed in swimming, diving and dance throughout her high school career. She swam two years on varsity for Allen High School (Allen, Tx) from 2010-2012 and then two years on varsity for Prosper High School (Prosper, Tx) from 2012-2014. During her time at Prosper, she competed at the UIL State games for both years and was captain her senior year. 

Jennifer swam for the University of Texas Permian Basin for all four years (2015-2019), after taking over a year off from the sport. At UTPB, Long specialized in sprint freestyle, butterfly and backstroke. She held records in the 200 Freestyle Relay and the 50 Fly during her time there. During the off-season practices of her senior year, Long served as a volunteer coach for UTPB, while recovering from shoulder surgery. Long graduated from UTPB in May 2019 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing.

Long is now working towards her Master’s of Science in Management and Organizational Leadership.
