Freshman goalkeepers Christina Dineson (Milford, CT/Foran) and Donato Piroscafo (Naugatuck, CT/Naugatuck) were both named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Weekly Honor Roll for their contributions this past week.
Dineson led the Falcons to a 2-1 week continuing to be a steady presence in goal stopping 15 shots this past week. The Falcons are in second place with a 9-3, 6-1 GNAC record this season with six of their remaining seven games against GNAC competition. The Falcons return to action on Saturday as they host Suffolk University at 1:00 pm during the Annual Fall Fest celebration.
Piroscafo led the Falcons to a 2-0 week with wins over Westfield State University and Johnson & Wales University as he continues to have an outstanding rookie campaign. The Falcons are in second place with a 9-2, 3-1 GNAC record with nearly all of their remaining games coming against GNAC competition. The Falcons travel to Manhattanville College on Wednesday for a 4:00 pm kick-off.
