Jon Gold enters his first season as assistant Coach in 2018/2019.

Gold has coached the past three years as a varsity baseball coach within the Boston Public School system. This past season Gold worked as Head Coach of Fenway High School, leading the club to the MIAA state tournament. Gold Served as assistant coach of the Bancroft Bandits this past summer, a team that competes within the Pioneer Collegiate Baseball League (PCBL).  

Gold graduated from Emmanuel College (Boston, MA) in 2016 where he served as the president of the club baseball program for two seasons. Gold obtained his Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Boston College this past May. 

On staff, Gold works primarily with the infielders and outfielders, while also assisting with hitting instruction. In addition, Gold plays a crucial role in individual player development and mental conditioning. This summer Gold will be the Head Coach and Field Manager of the Norfolk Redbirds within the Tidewater Summer Collegiate Baseball League.
