HOW IT HAPPENED
Manhattanville controlled the opening 10 minutes as the hosts held a 4-0 lead behind a pair of goals from Emily Antinozzi and Ameerah Thomas. The Valiants' Arnise King closed out the first scoring her first of the game to put the hosts up 5-0.
The Valiants would go on to score two more goals in the second, thanks to a pair from Brooke Hadgraft and Robin Boot, to secure the home win, 7-0.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Manhattanville outshot Albertus, 16-1, as well as held the edge in penalty corners, 6-2.
- Senior Sasha Byrd (New Haven, Conn.) recorded the Falcons only shot.
