New Haven, Conn. - The Albertus Magnus College field hockey team was blanked at home by Sweet Briar College, 9-0, Saturday morning at Celentano Field as part of the Falcon Field Hockey Classic.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Less than a minute into play, Maggie Groetsch would give the Vixens the early 1-0 lead as she found the back of the net for her first of the game. Sweet Briar continued to control the momentum extending its lead to four, 4-0, following three straight goals before heading into a timeout.
Sweet Briar would remain ahead, 6-0, after closing out the half with a pair of goals from Alexis Jones and Kayleigh Ness.
The Falcons were unable to stop Sweet Briar from scoring an additional three goals to take home the road win, 9-0.
