St. Juste and Jackson Lead Falcons to Fourth Straight Win

Nashua, NH - Senior guard Walden St. Juste (Hartford, CT/Bulkeley) scored a game high 26 points including an incredible 7-11 from beyond the arc to lead the Falcons to their fourth straight victory with a 95-86 decision over host and Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) opponent Rivier College.

The Falcons received strong play from sophomore guard Arshad Jackson (Hartford, CT/Hartford Public) who had 21 points and five assists.

Albertus used a 9-0 run midway through the second half to take a 30-20 lead and didn't trail the rest of the game.  Albertus shot an impressive 50% from beyond the three point line on the night.

Rivier was led by senior guard Nick Bean (East Longmeadow, MA/East Longmeadow) and his team high 25 points including 15-17 from the free throw line.  Freshman forward Tom Poitras (Bow, NH/Bow) added 20 points and seven rebounds.

The Falcons improve to 13-9, 11-4 GNAC while Rivier drops to 12-11, 7-9 GNAC.

Albertus travels to Providence, RI on Tuesday night at 7:00 PM in a key GNAC matchup with playoff implications against host Johnson and Wales University
