Eian Davis (Brooklyn, N.Y.) led all scorers with 22 points and 13 assists as the Albertus Magnus men's basketball team downed Emmanuel 91-71 in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) play on Thursday night.

Davis shot 6-of-7 from the field and hit 10-of-15 from the free-throw line in his best performance of the season.  He was one of three Falcons with 20 or more points as Albertus remains unbeaten at 6-0 overall and 2-0 in GNAC action.

With the loss, Emmanuel drops to 1-5 on the year and begins GNAC play with the 20-point loss.

The Falcons shot 55% from the field and hit seven 3-pointers en route to the victory.  Emmanuel was held to just a 34.7% showing from the floor and the Saints were 3-of-14 from behind the arc.

The Falcons also saw a 21-point effort from senior Darius Watson (New Britain, Conn.) and a 20-point showing from Victor Ljuljdjuraj (Bronx, N.Y.).  Watson added four assists and was 3-of-7 from three-point land, while Ljuljdjuraj tallied eight rebounds and four blocked shots.

Ljuljdjuraj hit the Falcons' first two buckets in the game to tie the contest at four before the Falcons put together a 10-2 run thanks to four different Albertus scorers.  Kyle Wiggins (Milford, Conn.) came off the bench and hit a three-pointer to give Albertus a 21-12 lead midway through the half.

The Falcons held Emmanuel without a field goal for a span of 4:05 as they took a commanding 28-12 lead. The Falcons extended that lead to 20 points at 36-16 as James Jennings (Stratford, Conn.) hit a long three-pointer.

Emmanuel cut the lead to 11 with a 9-0 run with two minutes left on the clock. Davis halted the Emmanuel run with lay-up moments after they cut the lead to 11.

Davis had 11 points at the half as the Falcons took a 40-27 lead at the break.

The teams traded baskets in the opening minutes of the second half but then the Falcons ran away with the victory, led by Davis, Watson, and Ljuljdjuraj.

Marcus Walker came off the bench and led all players with 12 rebounds, including 10 on the defensive end. He added three blocks and six points as well. Tre'Von Gibbs added five rebounds off the bench.
