New Haven, Conn. – Senior Jaqhwan Walters (Hartford, Conn.) of the Albertus Magnus College men's basketball team netted a game-high 32 points and game-high 18 rebounds as the Falcons improve to 4-0 in the GNAC after defeating Mount Ida College, 97-77, Tuesday evening at the Cosgrove Marcus Messer Athletic Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Albertus Magnus opened the GNAC tilt with a 20-2 lead just seven minutes in before preventing the visitors from scoring a basket for two minutes. The Mustangs broke their silence at the 12:56 mark on a layup from Dennis Ross, but the Falcons would remaing in control and hold a 50-31 advantage heading into halftime.
Mount Ida continued to fight back on offense and kept the hosts' lead to under 20 until the 8:12 mark as the Falcons put together a short spurt and found themselves up 27, 95-68 with 3:22 remaining. Against the Falcons' defense, the Mustangs were only able to score nine points in the time remaining and the Falcons would go on to win their secon straight GNAC game.

- Albertus Magnus was just one rebound shy of tying its season-high 50 rebounds.
- With tonight's win, the Falcons are now 20-2 against the Mustangs.
