Men's Lacrosse Jack Kerner Named to GNAC All-Sportsmanship Team

Winthrop, Mass. - Albertus Magnus College men's lacrosse senior Jack Kerner (Merrick, N.Y.) has been named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) All-Sportsmanship Team as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.

Kerner started in all 12 games for the Falcons, including 10 starts between the pipes. This season, he recorded a total of 145 saves for a 53.7 save percentage as well as recorded a 13.22 Goals-Against Average. He also saw action on the field for Albertus as an attackmen, registering two points behind a goal and an assist. Kerner concluded the spring fifth on the team with 27 ground balls while posting three caused turnovers. 

The Albertus Magnus College men's lacrosse team finished the 2018 season with an overall record of 2-12, including a pair of wins over the College of Mount Saint Vincent and Mitchell College. 

Founded in 1995, the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) is an NCAA Division III association made up of 13 member institutions and over 3,000 student-athletes across the New England region. Each year, the GNAC sponsors and administers 20 championships, while balancing academic integrity, athletic opportunities and community involvement.
