HOW IT HAPPENED
Albertus got things started as junior Matt Cotto (Stratford, Conn.) scored the first goal of the game at the five minute mark to give the visitors the early 1-0 edge. Cotto's goal was his first of the season and second of his career.

However, with less than a minute to go in the opening half, Johnson & Wales Jazario Brimmer would even up the score at 1-1 after finding the back of the net to close out the first.

The Wildcats carried their momentum off Brimmer's goal into the second as Andrew Vecere scored off a nice feed from Teagan Drake to put the hosts up by one, 2-1. Four minutes later, sophomore Abdul Aremu (West Haven, Conn.) would score his third of the season, tying the game at 2-2.

For the remainder of regulation, both teams battled offensively and defensively sending the game into extra time.
