O'Brien Scores Twice to Lead Men's Soccer to 2-1 Win over Hunter

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Junior Liam O'Brien (Guilford, Conn.) scored a pair of goals to lead the Albertus Magnus College men's soccer team to a 2-1 home victory over Hunter College in a lighting-delayed home match at Celentano Field on Monday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Falcons took the first lead of the game in the fourth minute, as O'Brien sent a corner kick into the box that kept bending until it went untouched into the top-left corner of the goal.
• Blaise Enama tied the game at 1-1 by the 13th minute after using a Bradley Espejo pass to just beat the AMC keeper into the middle of the net.
• The fireworks continued in the first 15 minutes, as the game had to be delayed for over an hour and a half due to lightning in the area.
• Albertus took the decisive lead in the match in the 51st minute, as O'Brien headed a Johan Stagnaro (East Hartford, Conn.) free kick over the outstretched hands of Hunter's goal to give the home team a 2-1 advantage.
• AMC's defense locked in from there, allowing just four shots and one corner in the second half.
