Falcons Fall to Anna Maria 7-2 in Men's Tennis

The Albertus Magnus men's tennis team fell to Anna Maria College on Saturday afternoon by a score of 7-2. Richard Mitchell (Naugatuck, Conn.) won the Falcons only singles match of the day as he defeated Haakim Ferguson 6-1, 6-0.

In No. 2 doubles, Richard and his brother, Riker, defeated Anna Maria's Mike Dandurand and Ben Chick-Reny by a score of 8-2.

Marcus Artaiz fell in No. 1 singles to David Bourget 6-4, 6-1, while Tim Gabbard fell in the second position to Adam Williamson by an identical score.

The Falcons fell in No. 1 and No. 3 doubles by scores of 8-2 and 8-4 to finish out the day.

Albertus returns to action on Sunday at Wheelock in non-conference action.
