Dudley, Mass. – The Albertus Magnus College men's tennis team fell on the road to Nichols, 9-0, on Tuesday afternoon in non-conference action at the Robinson Tennis Courts. The Falcons see their three-game winning streak come to an end to move to 3-1 on the year, while the Bison netted their fifth victory in a row to improve to 9-3 overall.

For the first time this spring, AMC failed to earn a point a doubles action as Nichols won 8-1 at No. 3 and 8-2 at both No. 1 and No. 2.

In singles play, the Bison pulled away by taking all the matches in straight sets. At No. 5, Albertus Magnus freshman Steven Woodfield (Naugatuck, Conn.) put up a fight before falling, 6-2, 6-4. At No. 4, Falcon junior Daniel Constantinidi (North Branford, Conn.), competed before ultimately dropping a 6-0, 6-3 decision.

Albertus Magnus returns to action on Saturday, April 2, with a road non-conference clash against CCNY that gets underway at noon. The Falcons topped the Beavers, 7-2, earlier in the season in New Haven.
