Newark, N.J. – The Albertus Magnus College men's tennis team earned its first program win over Rutgers-Newark on Saturday afternoon in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) showdown at The Golden Dome Courts.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • With the match tied at 4-4 going into No. 6 singles, junior Nick Tagliaferri (Hamden, Conn.) came up big with the match on the line and pulled out the win to give the Falcons the road victory.
  • This was the Falcons first conference win since the 2015 season.
