Albertus turned the tides fairly quickly in the second stanza as the Falcons battled back to with three, 20-17, following a made jump shot from Kyah Nowlin (Stamford, Conn.) at the 6:09 mark. However, Amherst found its rhythm offensively and went into the locker room with a 10-point advantage, 34-24.

Senior Shyla Osmond (New Haven, Conn.) led Albertus with nine points at the half while Nowlin added eight alongside three rebounds.
