Women's Lacrosse Upended by Purchase

New Haven, Conn. - Sophomore Kaitlin D'Agostino (Hamden, Conn.) of the Albertus Magnus College women's lacrosse team netted a team-best two goals as the Falcons fell to Purchase, 18-3, in non-conference play on Thursday evening at Celentano Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Purchase came out charing out of the gate taking a commanding 12-0 lead at the half. 

Down 14-0 in the second, sophomore Courtney Cacace (Brookfield, Conn.) was able to find the back of the net for the Falcons' first of the game at the 22:13 mark. Shortly after, Purchase scored back-to-back goals putting the game out of reach, 16-1.

At the 11:41 mark, D'Agostino would score her first of the game on a free position shot, but a pair of goals from Astrella Dacosta extended the visitors' lead 18-2. D'Agostino would score the final goal of the game at the 1:08 as the Falcons fell at home, 18-3.
