New Haven, CT - On Tuesday afternoon, the Albertus Magnus College women's soccer team dropped a tough GNAC loss to visiting Emmanuel College 1-0. Emmanuel College received all the offense it needed on a finish off the leg of senior midfielder Meghan Long (Smithfield, RI) on a free kick in the 23rd minute. The Lady Falcons outshot Emmanuel 15-5 but were shutout by a very strong performance from freshman goalkeeper Jessica D'Ottavio (Pawling, NY) who made 10 saves. Albertus Magnus drops to 8-5-2, 5-4-2 GNAC while Emmanuel College improves to 11-5-1, 8-2-1 GNAC. Albertus plays host to SUNY Old Westbury for a 3:00pm kick-off.
