Winthrop, Mass. - Freshman Haley Andrews (Prospect, Conn.) of the Albertus Magnus College women's soccer team was named this week's Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Rookie of the Week as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.
In a 1-1 week, Andrews led the Falcons' attack with a week-high four goals for eight points. She recorded her first collegiate hat trick in the 7-0 shutout win at Anna Maria. Andrews scored three of her four goals against the AMCATS in the second half.
The women's soccer team returns to action on Tuesday, September 25 as the Falcons travel to Newton, Mass. to take on league foe Lasell College. Kick-off is set for 4 p.m.
