New Haven, Conn. – Albertus Magnus College women's tennis Head Coach Robert Migliorini (Eighth Season) has announced his team's schedule for the upcoming 2018 fall slate. In total, the Falcons will take to the court 12 times, highlighted by eight home contests and seven Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) matches.
The Falcons will open the month of September with three-straight home matches at the Celentano Courts. The opening weekend is comprised of back-to-back non-conference matches against Sarah Lawrence (Sept. 8) and Pratt (Sept. 9). Following the match against the Cannoneers, Albertus will open GNAC play against Eastern Nazarene (Sept. 9) before hitting the road for a league match at Suffolk (Sept. 14).
A week later, Albertus resumes play and will alternate home and road matches against league newcomer Colby Sawyer (Sept. 22) and non-conference rival York (Sept. 23). The Falcons will then travel to Johnson & Wales (Sept. 26) for a midweek single match before battling conference foe Regis (Mass.) (Sept. 29) in Weston, Mass.
Albertus kicks off the month of October with a home non-conference tilt against the College of New Rochelle (Oct. 6). The Falcons will close out the regular season with a three-match week featuring Simmons (Oct. 10), the University of Saint Joseph's (Conn.) (Oct. 13) and Vaughn (Oct. 14).
