The Albertus Magnus women's volleyball team dropped a 3-0 (25-17, 25-15, 25-18) decision to Simmons in GNAC play on Saturday afternoon.
Maritza Rosemond (New Haven, Conn.) dished out 11 assists and added six digs in the loss. Tiffany Ortiz (New Haven, Conn.) and Nicole Acerra (East Haven, Conn.) both chipped in with seven digs to lead the Falcons.
The Falcons battled in all three matches but Simmons (10-2, 3-0 GNAC) remained unbeaten in conference play as they swept the three-set match.
Simmons registered 13 kills in each set, while hitting 21.5% on the afternoon.
Melissa Manning (Milford, Conn.) led the Falcons with five kills in the match and recorded two service aces.
