Krista LaBissioniere (Meriden, Conn.) recorded 21 digs as the Albertus Magnus women's volleyball team fell to Suffolk 3-0 (25-13, 25-19, 25-13) on Saturday afternoon in Boston.
Leanna Velez (Waterbury, Conn.) added nine digs and 14 assists in the loss as the Falcons moved to 2-17 on the year and 1-8 in Great Northeast Athletic Conference action.
Despite the loss, Nicole Acerra (East Haven, Conn.) added to her season dig tally as she registered 10 digs as well as one service ace. Both Elizabeth Williams (West Haven, Conn.) and Lindsey Raynor (Branford, Conn.) contributed with five kills a piece.
The Falcons will return to action on Tuesday, Oct. 18 as they travel to West Hartford, Conn. to take on Saint Joseph College in a league contest.
