The Falcons followed up their season-opening win with a 3-0 loss to Sage (2-0) in Chicopee, Mass. as part of the Blazer Challenge.
Sage won the match with scores of 25-13, 25-18, and 25-18. Morgan Robinson led the way for Sage with 11 kills in 21 attempts as she hit .429 on the night.
Maritza Rosemond (New Haven, Conn.) led the Falcons with 11 assists, while freshmen Kelsey Pendagast (Shelton, Conn.) and Jenna Dececchi (West Haven, Conn.) combined for 10 kills.
The Falcons continue their stint in Chicopee with their final match at Elms College on Saturday morning. Albertus will take on SUNY Cobleskill beginning at 10:00 a.m.
