The Albertus Magnus women's volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision to Suffolk University on Saturday in Boston to finish the 2013 season. The Falcons finish the year with a 9-14 overall record.
Suffolk defeated the Falcons by scores of 25-15, 25-8, and 25-13.
Suffolk's Hailey Atkinson led all players with 13 kills, while Savannah Carpenter had 11 kills and one hitting errror in 18 attempts. She hit .556 on the afternoon to lead the Rams.
Melissa Manning (Milford, Conn.) had a team-high six kills on the afternoon to go along with three digs.
Freshman Caitlin Prete (Milford, Conn.) led the Falcons with nine digs to go along with one service aces and three kills. Alyssa Puccilli (Milford, Conn.) added three digs, while Amy Seliga (East Haven, Conn.) tallied two kills in four tries.
Taylor DePalma (East Haven, Conn.) added one solo block and one kill to the Falcons' tally.
