In the opening match against the Lasell Lasers, the Falcons fell by scores of 25-12, 25-22, and 25-23. Led by Caitlin Prete (Milford, Conn.), the Falcons recorded 24 kills in the match. Prete led the Falcons with 11 kills and 10 digs.
Leanna Velez (Waterbury, Conn.) dished out 16 assists for the Falcons to go along with 10 digs, while Ramona Onofrio (East Haven, Conn.) led Albertus with 15 digs. Junior Alyssa Puccilli (Milford, Conn.) tallied nine digs as well.
Lasell was led by Odina Ellis with eight kills, while Cassandra Stout led the Lasers with 13 digs. The Lasers improved to 7-27 on the year with the win, while the Falcons fell to 4-20 overall.
