The Albertus Magnus women's volleyball team concluded its 2014 season with a pair of Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) losses on Saturday at Johnson & Wales (R.I.) University. The Falcons dropped a 3-0 match to Lasell before falling to JWU 3-0.
After falling in their first match of the day, the Falcons fell to host JWU 3-0 by scores of 25-7, 25-9, 25-17.
Against the Wildcats the Falcons were led by Caitlin Prete (Milford, Conn.) with seven kills and seven digs.
Alyssa Puccilli (Milford, Conn.) led all Falcons with eight digs, while Leanna Velez (Waterbury, Conn.) tallied nine assists in the loss.
The Falcons finish the season 4-21 on the year and 0-11 in league play, while Lasell improved to 7-21 and JWU moved to 15-15.
