In the middle, junior Marielis Muriel (New Haven, Conn.) set the tone for the guests with 13 assists and three aces. Freshman outside hitter Ashley David (West Islip, N.Y.) also registered three aces from the service line for Albertus Magnus.

Defensively, Muriel had a team-high 11 digs for the visitors and freshman defensive specialist Jesselle Guzman (Santa Teresa, N.M.) added five.

Albertus Magnus returns to action on Thursday, September 8, with a home non-conference clash versus Mitchell at 6:00 pm. The Falcons are looking to avenge a pair of setback last autumn against the Mariners. The tilt will also serve as the Albertus Magnus home opener.
