New Haven, Conn. - The Albertus Magnus College women's volleyball team was swept by Saint Joseph's College (LI) in straight sets, 3-0, in non-conference action on Tuesday evening at the Cosgrove Marcus Messer Athletics Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Set Scores: 25-18 (SJ), 25-17 (SJ) and 25-17 (SJ)

The Golden Eagles controlled the opening set as the visitors held a 20-10 edge following a service ace by Brionna Silva, but a kill from Genesis Cora Luquis (Meriden, Conn.) sparked an 8-3 run to bring the Falcons to within five, 23-18. However, Saint Joseph's (LI) claimed the first set win, 25-18, following a service error by the hosts and a service ace by Kaitlin Williams.

Saint Joseph's (LI) entered the third set with a 2-0 advantage after taking set two quickly by a score of 25-17. 

The Falcons continued to battle in the final set, but fell 25-17.
