Your Albertus Story

Why did you choose Albertus?
Albertus checked off all of my boxes when I was a perspective student.

Clubs, Activities, Volunteering: I am the Campus Activities Board President, Treasurer for Honors Program, and a member of the Student Alumni Association. I was the Director of Commuter Engagements for SGA. I began the Figure Skating club, and I am a Writing Associate in the ASC. Also, I am a competitive figure skater. During my collegiate years, I became a two-time bronze medalist at US Collegiate Figure Skating Championships. I am currently in the top 20 senior ladies on the Eastern Coast.

Favorite Professor: Professor Jorgensen

Favorite Class: Roman Catholicism with Dr. Wheeler-Reed

Favorite Place on Campus: Bree Commons

Honors and Awards: I have made Dean's list, and I achieved Presidential List Status for Academic Excellence. I was award Female Scholar-Athlete in Spring 2019. Also, I was awarded the Falcon award and two-time MVP for women's lacrosse.

Your Albertus Athletic Story

Sport Played at Albertus: Women's Lacrosse

Years Played at Albertus: 4

Who is your funniest teammate and why?
Lexi Fenn because there was never a dull moment with her.

Most memorable game or athletic event: The most memorable game for me took place my freshman year. It was our season opener at home. The recorded national anthem would not play, and my team started to sing the anthem. Soon enough, all the fans, coaches, and opposing players were singing. It was a very special moment for me. Later, we would go on to win our game 21-2 against Newbury. Also, this game was memorable because I got my first collegiate goals and how the team bonded during that game was unforgettable.

What is the greatest lesson you've learned from being a student-athlete?
As an Albertus student-athlete, I have been able to challenge myself outside of the classroom, and push myself to new limits. I have formed strong bonds with my teammates and have made lasting memories. Playing an intercollegiate sport has taught me life lessons that I cannot learn elsewhere. I am very grateful for this experience.
