Mia Castillo Breaks Baruch Women's Basketball All-Time Scoring Record

Mia Castillo tonight broke the Baruch women's basketball team record for points when she scored on a jumper with 8:23 left in the first quarter.

Castillo scored 26 points and now has 1,856 points, breaking the previous record by Hilary Williams (1987-1991) with 1,830.

She is currently leading the entire NCAA Division three in scoring with 33.8 points per game.

Mia also had nine rebounds and six assists to go along with her celebratory night.

The Bearcats lost to Albertus Magnus 85-70 in a non-conference game before the Thanksgiving holiday break.

Elissa Leung scored 14 points and Brianna Lopez had a career-high with 11 points.

Diamond White led the visiting Falcons with 30 points.
