WEST HARTFORD, Conn. – The University of Saint Joseph (USJ) men's basketball team earned a hard-fought victory in a battle of two undefeated Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) teams Saturday afternoon, taking down intrastate and conference rival Albertus Magnus College, 100-86, inside James A. Calhoun Gymnasium in West Hartford, Conn. With the triumph, the Blue Jays extend their win streak to nine games, improve to 17-4 overall on the 2023-24 season, are the lone remaining perfect team in GNAC play at 10-0, and move into first place in the conference standings. The Falcons dip to 18-4 overall and 10-1 in conference games with the setback.
