Herrera Registers Career-High 30 Saves in Falcons' Loss to Husson

New Haven, Conn. - The Albertus Magnus College field hockey team fell at home to Husson University by a score of 18-0 Sunday afternoon at Celentano Field as part of the Falcon Field Hockey Classic.

Freshman Kasey Herrera (Stratford, Conn.) recorded a stellar game in goal  for the Falcons as the rookie keeper recorded a career-high 30 saves.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Husson controlled the opening half, outshooting Albertus 31-0, as well as held a 9-0 lead at the half. The Eagles were led offensively in the first half by Sadie Royer, Allison Leighton and Haley Ward, who each scored two goals apiece.

Husson would remain ahead and would seal the road win, 18-0, after closing out regulation with nine goals, including three goals from Royer.
