Field Hockey Unveils 2022 Schedule

2022 SCHEDULE

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Albertus Magnus College field hockey team begins a new era in 2022, as the program released its first schedule under Head Coach Danielle Pannone.

Of AMC's 14 games this season, seven will happen at home at Celentano Field, and seven will take place on the road. In addition, the Falcons will play an 11-game Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) slate.

Albertus begins the 2022 season on the road at GNAC foe Rivier University on Wednesday, Sept. 7, at 4 p.m. The Falcons then play Regis (Mass.) College on Saturday, Sept. 10, at 1 p.m. on the road, before its home opener on Saturday, Sept. 17, against the Lasers of Lasell University at 2:30 p.m.

The Falcons stay home the next day to play the University of Maine at Farmington at 2 p.m. Albertus also battles Mount Holyoke College (Sept. 27) at home in September while playing Manhattanville College (Sept. 29) on the road to close out the month.

AMC will play most of its games in October, as the Falcons have eight contests scheduled in the last month of the season, all of which are GNAC contests. Albertus challenges Simmons University at home on the first day of the month before three straight road bouts against Johnson & Wales (RI) University (Oct. 5), Saint Joseph's (Me.) College (Oct. 8), and Dean College (Oct. 12).

The Falcons conclude the season with three of their final four games coming at home. First, Albertus welcomes Anna Maria College for a 7 p.m. tilt on Friday, Oct. 14, as a part of the college's Homecoming festivities. AMC then plays Elms College (Oct. 19) at home and Colby-Sawyer College (Oct. 22) on the road before concluding the regular season at Celentano Field versus in-state foe the University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) (Oct. 26).
