The Falcons took their first advantage of the day, 12-9, at the 12:13 mark of the first half following a 3-pointer by Davon Warner (New Haven, Conn.).

Warner's trey sparked a 16-6 surge by Albertus over the next six minutes to put the score at 28-15 in the home team's favor. Terry Dawkins (Bronx, N.Y.) recorded nine points for the Falcons over the run, including one and-one bucket and two layups.
