HOW IT HAPPENED
Albertus struck first on a pair of threes from Tyreek Perkins (New Haven, Conn.), a thunderous slam dunk from Perryman, and a jumper from Terry Dawkins (Bronx, N.Y.) to take a 10-2 lead two minutes into the first half.

Albertus continued to pile on the pressure, taking a 20-8 lead five minutes into the half, with Green-Younger contributing four points. The Saints then went on an 8-4 run to cut the deficit to eight, 24-16, with just under 13 minutes left to go.

With the Saints starting to mount a comeback, Perkins swished his third trey of the night to increase the lead to 10, 28-18. Shortly after, Emmanuel (Mass.) managed to cut the deficit to four, 44-40, but the Falcons extended its lead back up to nine, 51-42.

Despite the Saints closing out the first half on a 7-2 push, the visitors trailed the Falcons 53-49 at the break.

Emmanual opened the second half scoring with a lay-up from Marcus Fox, before Green-Younger popped back-to-back treys to extend the Falcon lead to six, 59-53. The teams then traded baskets, before Green-Younger swished his fourth three-pointer of the evening to extend the hosts' advantage to seven, 64-57, with just over 17 minutes to play.

A time-out from Emmanual was in vain, as the Falcons went on a 6-2 run, capped by a monster slam dunk from Green-Younger to bring the score to 76-67. The Saints retaliated with a 5-0 surge to cut the deficit to four, 76-72, with just over 10 minutes remaining.

Neither team scored for the next three minutes, before Green-Younger put in a lay-up to extend the lead to 88-80. An Albertus foul allowed the Saints to whittle the margin to six, before Rob Tindley (Lawnside, N.J.) swished a deep 3-pointer from the corner to bring the score to 91-82.

Back-to-back lay-ups by Green-Younger and Dawkins pushed the Falcons to their largest lead of the day, 95-82, with 44 seconds remaining. A pair of made free throws from Tindley cemented the win for the Falcons and assured the team the second seed in the upcoming GNAC Tournament.
