2018-19 GNAC Academic All-Conference Honorees Announced
June 18, 2019Winthrop, Mass. - The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) has announced its All-Academic Team for the 2018-19 school year. This year, 41 student-athletes from Albertus Magnus College were among the 1,030 members of the Academic Team from 13 full-time institutions and nine associate member institutions in the conference. -

Athletic Training and Medical Clearance Forms
June 03, 2019All returning, new and transfer student-athletes must complete documents and requirements in order to be cleared to participate in varsity athletics at Albertus Magnus College. These documents are in addition to the Student Health Form packet for Health Services upon admittance to the college.

Albertus Magnus Hosts Unified Sports Tournament
March 29, 2019New Haven, Conn. - On Friday, March 29, the Albertus Magnus College Athletic Department hosted its first Unified Basketball Tournament at “The Nest” inside the Cosgrove Marcus Messer Athletic Center. Four teams – Albertus Magnus College, Southern Connecticut State University, Milford and Branford – competed in the tournament.

February 13, 2019New Haven, Conn. - The Albertus Magnus College Athletic Department takes great pride in giving back to local communities and for the fourth straight year, Falcon student-athletes, coaches and administration surpassed the athletic department goal of 600 hours. All of our student-athletes, coaches and administration spent their Thanksgiving and Christmas break volunteering within their community and in total finished with 840 hours.

Men's Golf Finishes Ninth in GNAC Championship
October 14, 2018Sutton, Mass. - The Albertus Magnus College men's golf team closed out the 2018 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Fall Championship by firing a team score of 801 to finish in ninth-place in the two-day event. The Falcons shot a 406 in the opening round to finish the Championship with a score of 801.

October 11, 2018Winthrop, Mass. – The Albertus Magnus College men's golf team has been selected ninth in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Pre-Championship Poll. The poll, which was released on Thursday afternoon, is voted on by the league's nine coaches.

October 10, 2018Groton, Conn. - Sophomore Quinn Oliver (Milford, Conn.) recorded a season-low score of 90 as the Albertus Magnus College men’s golf team finished third in the Mitchell Invite III Wednesday afternoon at Shennecossett Golf Course.

October 05, 2018New Haven, Conn. - In its third dual-match of the season, the Albertus Magnus College men's golf team fell to Dean College on Friday afternoon at Ailing Memorial Golf Course. The Bulldogs carded a team-total of 350 to top the Falcons' score of 403.

Men's Golf Falls to Mitchell College
September 21, 2018New Haven, Conn. - Freshman Jason Brennan (East Haven, Conn.) carded the low round of the day for the Albertus Magnus College men's golf team with a score of 78, but the Falcons fell to in-state rival Mitchell College Friday afternoon at Ailing Memorial Golf Course. Brennan's score of 78 was a season-best for the rookie as well as finished first to earn the low medalist honor.

September 19, 2018Westfield, Mass. - The Albertus Magnus College men’s golf team carded a team score of 417 as the Falcons competed in the 2nd Annual Brett Williamson ‘11 Invitational Tournament at Tekoa Country Club, hosted by Westfield State.

September 13, 2018Pittsfield, Mass. - The Albertus Magnus College men’s golf team took part in MCLA Invitational Thursday afternoon at the Berkshire Hills Country Club. The Falcons finished 10th overall after recording a score of 380 while Westfield State claimed first with a score of 309.

Men's Golf Falls in Home Dual Match to Mt. St. Vincent
September 11, 2018New Haven, Conn. – In its first home dual-match of the season, the Albertus Magnus College men’s golf team fell to the College of Mount Saint Vincent on Tuesday afternoon at Aliling Memorial Golf Course. The Dolphins carded a team-total of 367 to top the Falcons score of 398 on the par-72 6,248 yard track.

September 07, 2018Groton, Conn. - The Albertus Magnus College men's golf team opened the 2018 campaign with a fourth-place finish at the Mitchell Invitational on Friday afternoon. The one-day, 18-hole event was contested at the par-71, 6,562-yard Shennecossett Golf Course.

Men's Golf Announces 2018 Fall Campaign
August 28, 2018New Haven, Conn. – Albertus Magnus College men’s golf Head Coach JR Fredette has announced his team’s schedule for the upcoming 2018 season. In total, the Falcons will hit the course seven times, highlighted by two home dual matches and a trip to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championship.
