2019-20 GNAC Academic All-Conference Honorees AnnouncedJune 26, 2020Winthrop, Mass. - The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) has announced its All-Academic Team for the 2019-20 school year. This year, 52 student-athletes from Albertus Magnus College were among the 1,173 members of the Academic Team from 13 full-time institutions and nine associate member institutions in the conference.

99 Student-Athletes Named to Fall 2019 Dean's ListFebruary 04, 2020New Haven, Conn.- Albertus Magnus College announced its Dean List recipients for the Fall 2019 academic semester. Over the fall semester, the Falcons placed 44% (99) of their total student-athletes from across 15 different intercollegiate sports on Dean’s List. In addition, the Falcons had 24 students receive a GPA of 4.0 for the Fall semester.

Men’s Golf Places Sixth in GNAC TournamentOctober 13, 2019Saco, Me. - The Albertus Magnus College men's golf team closed out the 2019 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Fall Championship by firing a team score of 661 to finish in sixth-place in the two-day event. The Falcons shot a 335 in the opening round to finish the Championship with a score of 661.

Men's Golf Tied for Seventh in GNAC Pre-Championship PollOctober 10, 2019Winthrop, Mass. – The Albertus Magnus College men's golf team tied for seventh place, along with Emmanuel College, in the 2019 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Pre-Championship Poll. The poll, which was released on Thursday afternoon, is voted on by the league's eight coaches.

Men’s Golf Defeats Dean and Eastern Nazarene CollegeSeptember 27, 2019New Haven, Conn. – Junior Ryan Sember (Branford, Conn.) fired a two-over par 74 to earn low medalist honors and lead the Albertus Magnus College men’s golf team past Eastern Nazarene College and Dean College in a home match on Friday afternoon at Alling Memorial Golf Course.

Men's Golf Edged by Mitchell in PlayoffSeptember 25, 2019New Haven, Conn. – The Albertus Magnus College men's golf team fell to Mitchell College in playoffs on Wednesday afternoon at the New Haven Country Club. Both teams finished with a score of 342 after 18 holes, but the Mariners came home with the “W” after winning by one stroke in playoffs.

Men’s Golf Places Fifth at the Brett Williamson InvitationalSeptember 19, 2019Westfield, Mass. - The Albertus Magnus College men's golf team carded a team score of 344 as the Falcons competed in the Third Annual Brett Williamson '11 Invitational at Tekoa Country Club, hosted by Westfield State. Tekoa Country Club is a Par-71 and 6,348 yard course. The Falcons finished the invitational placing fifth overall out of nine teams. Junior Ryan Sember (Branford, Conn.) carded a team-low as well as set a new personal-best with a score of 75.

Men’s Golf Falls to the College of Mount Saint VincentSeptember 15, 2019Harrison, N.Y. - Junior Ryan Sember (Branford, Conn.) carded the low round of the day for the Albertus Magnus College men's golf team with a score of 77, but the Falcons fell to the College of Mount Saint Vincent by just nine strokes on Sunday afternoon at Willow Ridge Country Club. Sember earned a low medalist honors after finishing the day with a season-low score of 77.

Men’s Golf Defeats Purchase for First Victory Since 2016September 06, 2019NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Albertus Magnus College men’s golf team kicked off the 2019 campaign with a victory over Purchase College, 340-359, at the Alling Memorial Golf Course. Ryan Sember (Branford, Conn.) paced the team with a final score of 77 (+5) to lead the Falcons to their first dual-match win since Oct. 07, 2016.
