  • AHCA Recognizes 25 Falcons with Krampade All-American Scholar Honors

    NEW HAVEN, Conn. – For the second consecutive season, the Albertus Magnus College men’s ice hockey team was well represented on the "Krampade All-American Scholar" list from the American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA), as 25 Falcons earned this notable academic honor after the 2020-21 campaign.

    WINTHROP, Mass. - The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) has announced its All-Academic Team for the 2020-21 school year. This year, 82 student-athletes from Albertus Magnus College were among the 1,260+ honorees named to the Academic Team.

  • Scott Pollak Named Assistant Men's Ice Hockey Coach

    NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Scott Pollak has been named assistant men’s ice hockey coach at Albertus Magnus College, it was announced by head coach Kyle Wallack. Pollak joins Albertus Magnus after spending five seasons as a volunteer assistant coach at Manhattanville College.

  • Albertus Magnus College Welcomes Centennial Class at Accepted Student Day

    New Haven, Conn., April 5, 2021 – A special welcome to the Centennial Class at Albertus Magnus College! First-year students this fall will graduate in 2025, the year of Albertus’ 100th Anniversary. So, Accepted Student Day 2021 will be just as unique. First, it will be held twice: Saturday, April 10, and Saturday, April 24 starting at 10 am. Reservations are required. Second, it will be experienced in-person, but in a drive-through fashion complete with QR codes and culminating in an exciting outdoor gathering - all while maintaining proper physical distancing. (see attached map). Last year’s Accepted Student Day was done virtually due to COVID-19 restrictions.

    New Haven, Conn., March 16, 2021 – Albertus Magnus College President Dr. Marc M. Camille will confer undergraduate and graduate degrees in a joint Commencement ceremony to the Classes of 2020 and 2021 during the College’s historic 95th Anniversary Year.  The celebration will take place in front of the iconic Rosary Hall on Sunday, May 16, 2021, and will include several of the annual traditions that date back nearly a century to the College’s first graduations.

Sophomores Owen Allan (Ancaster, Ontario) and Charles Risk (Medicine Hat, Alberta) led the Falcons with three points each.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Albertus Athletic Department postponed the Class of 2020 Induction Ceremony, which was scheduled for the fall of 2020, to the fall of 2021.

To make-up for a loss of athletic competitions, each of the athletic teams are participating in a different service project, including community clean-up, athletic lessons, and volunteering efforts.

    NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Albertus Magnus College announced its Dean List recipients for the Spring 2020 academic semester. Over the spring semester, the Falcons placed __ student-athletes from across 15 different intercollegiate sports on the Dean's List. In addition, the Falcons had 127 student-athletes receive a GPA of 4.0.
