Postseason Begins
The Albertus Magnus College men's soccer team has earned the fifth seed for the upcoming 2019 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Soccer Tournament and will face the fourth-seeded Blue Jays of the University of Saint Joseph (CT) in the first round on Saturday, November 2nd. Kick-off is slated for 2:30 PM in West Hartford, Conn.

Postseason Notes

• This is the Falcons' 23^rd GNAC postseason appearance.
• Albertus has an all-time postseason record of 16-20-4.
• This will be the first time ever that Albertus and USJ will face off in the playoffs.

2019 Recap

• Prior to the season starting, Albertus was picked to finish eighth in the GNAC preseason poll.
• Started the year 4-1, including three straight shutouts of Maine-Farmington, Nichols College, and Dean College.
• Defeated Suffolk University 2-1 in double overtime to earn their first conference victory of the season on September 14^th.
• Earned three straight conference victories from September 28^th through October 9^th, including a 4-0 stomping of Lasell, a 5-1 defeat of Regis, and a 1-0 nail-biter over Rivier.
• Finished October with a 4-5 record, with all four wins coming against conference rivals.
• Scored a season-high eight goals in a win over Anna Maria on October 26^th.
