NEW HAVEN, Conn. - After leading the Albertus Magnus College men's soccer team to its first double-digit win season in six years, 2021 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Coach of the Year Pete Hamasian announced the program's schedule for the 2022 campaign this afternoon.

The Falcons are slated to play 17 matches in 2022, with 12 of those contests being a part of a GNAC slate. Albertus will play eight home matches at Celentano Field this season to go along with nine road contests.

AMC kicks off the year on Thursday, Sept. 1, with a road non-conference bout against Westfield State University at 7 p.m. The Falcons open their home slate two days later on Saturday, Sept. 3, with a 1 p.m. contest against intrastate foe Mitchell College.

Albertus continues non-league play on Monday, Sept. 5, with a home clash against Hunter College at 3 p.m., before a road tilt against Endicott College on Thursday, Sept. 8, at 7 p.m.

GNAC play begins with three consecutive home matches, kicking off on Saturday, Sept. 10, with a 3:30 p.m. tilt against Regis (Mass.) College. The Falcons will next play both Lasell University (Sept. 14) and Rivier University (Sept. 17) in back-to-back contests at Celentano Field.

AMC hits the road for its next two bouts, battling the University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) on Wednesday, Sept. 21, and Emmanuel (Mass.) College on Saturday, Sept. 24. The Falcons September slate concludes on Wednesday the 28th with a home matchup vs. Johnson & Wales (R.I.) University at 7 p.m.

The Falcons roll into October at home with a noon clash against Colby-Sawyer College on the 1st. Albertus has one more home match in October, battling Anna Maria College on the 15th as a part of the College's Homecoming festivities.

AMC will predominantly play on the road in October, as the team is slated to play five away matches. The Falcons have three consecutive road tilts against Elms College (Oct. 5), Saint Joseph's (Me.) College (Oct. 8), and Dean College (Oct. 12). Albertus concludes the regular season with back-to-back away matches against Castleton University (Oct. 19) and Norwich University (Oct. 22).
