2019-20 GNAC Academic All-Conference Honorees Announced
June 26, 2020Winthrop, Mass. - The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) has announced its All-Academic Team for the 2019-20 school year. This year, 52 student-athletes from Albertus Magnus College were among the 1,173 members of the Academic Team from 13 full-time institutions and nine associate member institutions in the conference. -

Season in Review: 2019-20 Albertus Magnus Women’s Basketball
May 15, 2020NEW HAVEN, Conn.-The Albertus Magnus College women’s basketball team had another successful season in 2019-20, winning 18 games for the third consecutive year and posting their second-best conference mark in the last decade at 8-3. The women’s basketball team recorded their second-highest points-per-game total in the previous decade with a 73.4 mark, accumulating a vast array of conference, regional, and national accolades.

February 25, 2020New Haven, Conn. – Seniors Shyla Osmond (New Haven, Conn.) and Rah-Rah Thompson (Bridgeport, Conn.) shined in their collegiate finales Tuesday night in Albertus Magnus College women's basketball's 103-95 double-overtime setback to Suffolk University in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Tournament Quarterfinals. Osmond posted her second 40-point game in a week with 43 points, nine rebounds and seven assists, while Thompson posted her 20th double-double of the year with 18 points and 14 rebounds.

Over the fall semester, the Falcons placed 44% (99) of their total student-athletes from across 15 different intercollegiate sports on Dean’s List. In addition, the Falcons had 24 students receive a GPA of 4.0 for the Fall semester.
