  • Albertus Magnus Athletics Holds "Falcon Fest" to Honor Student-Athletes

    New Haven, Conn. – On Monday, April 24th, in the Hubert Campus Center/Behan Community Room, the Albertus Magnus College Department of Athletics held its annual end of the year awards banquet, which the department re-named "Falcon Fest", to honor its student-athletes and coaches as well as to celebrate its successes from this past academic year.

    NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Albertus Magnus College President Dr. Marc M. Camille has been elected to serve on the National Collegiate Athletic Association’s (NCAA) Division III Presidents Council, for a  four-year term beginning in January 2023.  
  • Albertus Magnus College Will Join New England Hockey Conference

    Albertus Magnus College is skating into a new league. Both of the College’s NCAA Division III Men’s and Women’s Falcons ice hockey programs will be joining the New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) effective with their 2024-2025 seasons. Albertus has competed at the NCAA Division III level in men’s ice hockey since 2019-2020 and play their home contests at the recently renovated Ralph Walker Skating Rink in New Haven. This past summer, the College announced plans to sponsor women’s ice hockey as its 17th intercollegiate sport, effective with the 2023-24 academic year.

  • Novodor Selected as Falcons’ Inaugural Women’s Ice Hockey Coach

    NEW HAVEN, Conn., October 6, 2022 – After completing a comprehensive national search, Albertus Magnus College Director of Athletics Michael Kobylanski announced today that Stephen Novodor has been named as the Falcons’ inaugural Head Coach for the Women’s Ice Hockey team, which is set to begin NCAA Division III intercollegiate play in the 2023-24 academic year.
  • Albertus Magnus College to Add Women’s Ice Hockey as NCAA Division III Sport

    New Haven, Conn, July 6, 2022 – Albertus Magnus College is excited to announce its intent to add women’s ice hockey as its 17th NCAA Division III sport, beginning in the 2023-2024 academic year. A national search for the program’s inaugural head coach will commence immediately. In 2019-2020, the College launched its men’s ice hockey program, with plans to bring the women’s program quickly forward. The COVID-19 Pandemic delayed planning, but today’s announcement brings the initial plans to fruition.
