Daniel Webster defeated the Albertus Magnus women's lacrosse team 15-2 in a scrimmage in Nashua, N.H. on Saturday, March 30. The contest marked the Falcons' first road trip in program history.
Daniel Webster scored the first goal of the contest in the opening minute with a quick goal off the center draw. Albertus answered quickly as Miranda Jassil (North Branford, Conn.) tallied the goal.
DWC scored the next 13 unaswered goals to keep the Falcons on defense for a majoirty of the game.
The Falcons stayed strong on defense but the experience of the Eagles' offensive attack seemed to be more than they could handle.
Theresa Bujalski (North Haven, Conn.) scored the Falcons' second goal late in the contest.
Michelle Gaffney (Manchester, Conn.) made 14 stops in net for the Falcons.
Albertus will host Mitchell College on Wednesday, April 10 in their next scrimmage. That contest is scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m.
