2013-14 GNAC All-Academic Team Announced
June 04, 2014The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) has announced the All-Academic Team for the 2013-14 school year. This year, 58 student-athletes from Albertus Magnus College were among the 765 members of the Academic Team from 12 full-time institutions and 13 associate member institutions in the conference.

April 17, 2014The Albertus Magnus College women's lacrosse team defeated Bay Path College 18-4 Thursday afternoon at Celentano Field in New Haven, Conn. to mark their second consecutive victory at home. The Falcons improve to 2-8 on the year while the Wildcats fall to 0-7.

Falcons Record First Program Victory on Senior Day
April 13, 2014On a day where Kelsey Proctor (Guilford, Conn.) and Erika Blechert (Durham, Conn.) were recognized for senior day, the women’s lacrosse team defeated the Anna Maria College AMCats 19-10 for the program’s first victory Sunday afternoon at Celentano Field in New Haven, Conn. Erika Blechert did not play due to an injury but has been amazing in goals for the entire season. Proctor, had a career game scoring four goals and recording three assists for a total of seven points on the day. The Falcons improve to 1-9 overall and 1-8 in the GNAC while the AMCats fall to 0-11 overall and 0-8 in the GNAC.

Jassil Nets First Home Goal on Celentano Field in Loss to Wildcats
April 01, 2014The Johnson and Wales University Wildcats defeated women’s lacrosse 18-2 Tuesday afternoon at Celentano Field, in New Haven, Conn. The Falcons fall to 0-6 on the season and 0-6 in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) as the Wildcats improve to 6-6 overall and 3-3 in the GNAC. However, Miranda Jassil (North Branford, Conn.) wrote history as she scored the first home goal for women’s lacrosse on Celentano Field in program history.

Falcons Fall in First-Ever Contest 20-1 to Monks
March 02, 2014The Albertus Magnus women’s lacrosse team had a tough task in front of them on Sunday, March 2 when they played host to Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) foe Saint Joseph’s College of Maine in league action to open the 2014 season. The contest served as the Falcons’ first-ever varsity contest. The Falcons dropped a 20-1 decision to the Monks at the University of Bridgeport in Bridgeport, Conn.
