  • 2019-20 GNAC Academic All-Conference Honorees Announced

    Winthrop, Mass. - The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) has announced its All-Academic Team for the 2019-20 school year. This year, 52 student-athletes from Albertus Magnus College were among the 1,173 members of the Academic Team from 13 full-time institutions and nine associate member institutions in the conference.

    NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Without the ability to host an end of the year banquet this spring due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the Albertus Magnus College Athletic Department took to social media the week of June 8th, announcing the 2019-20 team award winners - Most Valuable Player, Falcon Award and Most Improved Player - for the fall and winter teams.

  • 99 Student-Athletes Named to Fall 2019 Dean's List

    New Haven, Conn.- Albertus Magnus College announced its Dean List recipients for the Fall 2019 academic semester. Over the fall semester, the Falcons placed 44% (99) of their total student-athletes from across 15 different intercollegiate sports on Dean’s List. In addition, the Falcons had 24 students receive a GPA of 4.0 for the Fall semester.

  • Andrews, Raposo Receive GNAC All-Conference Nods

    WINTHROP, Mass. – The duo of Haley Andrews (Prospect, Conn.) and Katherine Raposo (Warwick, R.I.) represent the Albertus Magnus College women’s soccer team on the All-Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Teams, as Andrews was named Second Team and Raposo Third Team. The league’s All-Conference honors were released Monday, Nov. 11, and are voted on by the conference’s 13 head coaches.

College in the quarterfinal round of the 2019 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Tournament at Roberto Clemente Field.

  • Albertus Magnus Athletics to Host Unified Soccer Tournament

    The campus is buzzing in the midst of a stellar soccer season for Albertus Magnus College! Both the men’s and women’s teams have winning records, and the college recently announced that it will host this year’s Unified Sports Soccer Tournament in conjunction with CIAC/Special Olympics Unified Sports-partnering athletes with and without disabilities on athletic teams for training and competition. There will be a total of nine teams in the tournament this year. Members of the Albertus Magnus men’s and women’s soccer teams will serve as referees and coaches for the players.
