Raposo Among Top 13 in Multiple DIII Statistical Rankings

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – After two consecutive stellar performances, Albertus Magnus College junior Katherine Raposo (Warwick, R.I.) ranks among the top 13 in three Division III statistical categories.

Through three games this year, Raposo has tallied 13 points on five goals and three assists. Nationally, the junior transfer is tied for sixth in points (4.33), eighth in assists (1.00) and 13th in goals per game (1.67). Teammate Haley Andrews (Prospect, Conn.) is also tied for eighth in the nation with 1.00 assists per game to start the year.

Raposo has been on fire of late, scoring all of her points in the team's last two games. Her breakout performance came against Mitchell College on Thursday, Sept. 5, when she logged three goals and two assists to propel the Falcons to a 10-0 victory over the Mariners. She added two more goals and another assist in Wednesday's 3-0 win over Bay Path University.

Albertus kicks off the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) portion of its schedule on Friday, Sept. 13, with a home 5:30 p.m. match against Lasell University.
