HOW IT HAPPENED

Albertus lit the lamp early with Raposo completing a hat trick over the first 13 minutes of play to push the Falcons' advantage to 3-0.

Over the remainder of the first set of 45 minutes, freshman Amanda McGeehan (Milford, Conn.) and Austin struck once to send Albertus into the locker room up 5-0.

The Falcons maintained possession for the majority of the second stanza and found themselves up 10-0 behind four different scorers. During that run, Austin completed her first hat trick of the season as well as assisted Jenessa Perez's (Oxford, Conn.) goal at the 47th-minute.

With just over 29 minutes remaining, Eleanor Harrington erased the Falcons' shutout and put NVU-Lyndon on the scoreboard on a free ball.
