Winthrop, Mass. – Sophomore forward Haley Andrews (Prospect, Conn.) and senior goalkeeper Cassidy Scofield (Shelton, Conn.) were named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Women's Soccer Player and Goalkeeper of the Week, announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.

In a 2-0 week, Andrews enjoyed a nine-point week for the Falcons, scoring four goals to go along with an assist, including both game-winners. The sophomore forward tallied her second career hat trick to guide the Falcons to a 6-1 win over Anna Maria. Andrews closed out the week on Saturday scoring the game-winning goal at the 36th minute to propel the Falcons past Regis (Mass.).

Scofield posted her fourth shutout of the season for the Falcons as the senior keeper recorded a total of six saves over 90 minutes in a 1-0 win against Regis (Mass.).

The Lady Falcons continue GNAC action with a road showdown against Suffolk University on Wednesday, Oct. 16 in East Boston, Mass. Game time is set for 7:00PM.
